***Posting the post I didn't get to publish due to blogger being blocked where we were...***
We made it safely!! Thank you to all who have been praying! It has meant a lot...keep it up! :)
How did the flight go? Well...here are a few lessons I learned from a 14 hr plane flight:
1) Be careful when opening the flip top on your water bottle that is half full, has been on its side and under pressure from the take off - you, the jacket on your lap and the pillow in your hand might get sprayed by a serious stream of water! ...although you also might decide it feels kind of refreshing...
2) On an Asian flight, even if you love Asian food and hear the word "curry" mention as a lunch option...just stick with the familiar chicken or beef. Just trust me. (Lauren...) ;)
3) One 2 year old trapped for 14 hours is...interesting. I would never try it with multiple toddlers! ...oh wait... (No, really Big Brother did great...just a few moments here and there of needing more space for energy to be let out. :)
4) When taking a walk down the aisle and back up the other side with said toddler, it is helpful to get out as much energy as possible - for example, stopping to jump up and down in any available open spaces works well - and the plane is so noisy even during the lights off "night time" (we followed the sun all the way here...it never was dark outside) that no none can hear!
5) Sick one year olds are troopers on long flights! At least Little Man was. He was pretty darn sick last night too ...his pulse ox went down to 70% at one point (Catrina...we know very well what that's like don't we?) and he has a cough that sounds like a seal barking poor baby! I think his fever finally broke when we got to Seoul so hopefully a good nights rest will find him feeling better in the morning...pray!!
6) However, if you happen to be the chosen parent said sick baby decides he wants to be held by, you may have some tired arms by the end...if not way before. :). (But I know Daniel didn't mind at all...)
7) The tvs on the backs of the chairs in front of you are great! And they have kid shows and movies also which is cool...not to mention the fact that these tvs are made so u have to be right in front of them in order to see...just a bit to the right, or left, up or down and the screen looks black...which becomes a frustrating problem when you're two and reeeeally want to watch something :/ which is where the iPad comes in handy.
8) Sitting for that long makes my bum hurt! :-p
9) I can't sleep on planes. This may or may not help when adjusting to a new time..
Aaaand now! Bed!! Aaahhhhh...!

First step
Well, we're on our way! We left yesterday for Atlanta...Little Man was asleep before we even backed out of the garage. Poor baby had a fever and a sore throat. Pray he gets better quickly!!
Big Brother happily munched on a bp&j sandwich and then fell asleep himself.
Little Man woke up crying and just wanted to hold my hand for minutes. Sweet boy.
Now we are on our way to the airport! We are praying everything goes smoothly and we can take off before the predicted thunderstorm gets here.
